I spend my day job in palliative care, my free time surfing small waves, and contemplating all the moments in between.
This blog is a composite of these reflections - some are stories inspired from working in end-of-life care, some are lessons from the sea, and some are poems for the otherwise indescribable moments.
From these seemingly unrelated aspects of my life, I am reminded time and time again, we are more alike than different, and there is a common humanity that threads through all of us.
My hope with this blog is for others to feel less alone, and inspired in the same way as I have by the stories I have the privilege of witnessing. And maybe, just maybe, get a little closer to discovering what a life worth living is.
Through the waves of life, sometimes all we can do is take things day by day.
